WE WELCOME YOUR DONATION
Uganda is a landlocked country in East Africa with the population of 42.7 million people. Since it's independence in October 1962 it has had it's ups and downs. Many remember Idi Amin and his regime and the subsequent takeover by the current president since the 80's. The Northern and Eastern regions of Uganda have been particularly afflicted with hardships stemming from of war, diseases, poverty, negative cultural belief practices, and natural disasters such as drought leaving the community in a situation of extreme deprivation and vulnerability.

Our organization is caring out its activities in one county which is comprised of six (6) sub counties; Akeriau, Orungo, Ogolai, Moruingatuny and two newly created sub counties which include Olwa and Ogongora. Each sub-county is about 10 kilometers away from each other and have a total population of around eighty five thousand people (85,000).

The organization has a capacity of nine (9) board members, seven full time staffs and fifteen volunteer staff. As a concerned organization (OYUDO), we have laid down the following strategies to address the escalating problem of high volumes of school dropouts and early marriages:
-
Empowering youth and their families with small project like Bee keeping, Poultry, Small-Scale Farming and etc.
-
Equip them with computer skills by setting up a computer learning center.
-
Support the youth and children to build their talents by providing for them things like footballs, netball, playing uniforms, boots and others.

We desire to address the plight of joblessness and youth empowerment in our community through adequate financial support. Please join us in funding our projects.
